Focusing on the arctic climate
"There's a need to find funding to carry out climate research in the Arctic. The warming of the climate is melting the ice coverage and creating new navigational sea routes within the northern regions," says Hannele Hakola, Research Professor for the Finnish Meteorological Institute and member of the Academy of Finland’s Research Council for Biosciences and Environment.
